Experience the beauty of visiting the Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers in El Calafate with the Todo Glaciares boat tour. You will descend in the Spegazzini Channel and Glaciers Bay for an hour and a half while enjoying a spectacular view of the Spegazzini Glacier like never before and visiting the Spegazzini Refuge, which gets its name from being located in front of this glacier and on the shores of Lake Argentino. It is one of the most important tours that can be made from El Calafate and it is worth spending a day to reach the National Park places that are only accessible by boat.

In case of booking the boat tour with transfer from your hotel in El Calafate, we will pick you up at 7:00 a.m. to undertake the 47 km journey to the port of Punta Bandera from where the boat sails at 9 o'clock. In case of having your own vehicle, you must get to the port of Punta Bandera at 8:30 a.m.

The first part of the tour takes place in the north arm of Lake Argentino crossing the Boca del Diablo, the narrowest part of the lake, to then, head towards the Upsala and Spegazzini channels where you can see, at the end of each channel, the respective glaciers. The Upsala Glacier is the largest in Lake Argentino and can be seen from about 20 km distance, and the Spegazzini Glacier is the highest. You can also see Seco, Heim Sur and Peineta glaciers. The tour takes place between spectacular icebergs of enormous size and varied forms.

Upon disembarkation, you will walk a 300-meter path through the forest without difficulty along the shoreline of the lake, stopping at viewpoints with views of the entire Glaciers Bay. When you arrive at the Spegazzini Refuge, you can have lunch and contemplate the landscape from inside or from the outside terrace.

For those passengers who want to take the tour in a more exclusive way, the Captain's Club service is also offered. This lounge, located inside the restaurant of the Spegazzini Glacier and in a special deck of the boat, includes Open Bar with cafeteria service and unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, a 3-step menu (appetizer, main course and dessert) while you enjoy a unique panoramic view. In addition, you will have preferential location on the boat and a host and guide available throughout the tour.
