Punta Ninfas 4x4 Experience

The Punta Ninfas 4x4 Experience is a full-day activity that begins at 9:00 a.m. with a transfer from your accommodation in Puerto Madryn. From there, the tour continues for approximately 80 kilometers towards Punta Ninfas, where an experience defined by adventure and the landscapes of the Patagonian coast begins.

The first major highlight of the journey is Punta Ninfas Lighthouse, a historic structure that guides sailors and offers a unique view of the Patagonian landscape. The excursion then continues for a few more kilometers until reaching the mouth of Golfo Nuevo, an area surrounded by cliffs that offers beautiful panoramic views, pristine beaches and extensive rocky shores.

To reach the beach, it is necessary to descend the cliff using ropes, always accompanied by the guide-driver in charge. Along the way, strategically positioned ropes make the descent easier and add an element of adventure to the excursion, providing access to a unique section of the coast.

Between September and March, these beaches become home to a stable colony of Southern elephant seals, which can be observed at close range, always respecting their space and maintaining responsible behavior. This is a fragile ecosystem without formal protection, making silence, an appropriate distance and mindful observation essential. Depending on the time of year, there is also the possibility of spotting Southern right whales and even orcas, which occasionally pass through the area.

At the end of the tour, the return to Puerto Madryn begins after an excursion that combines 4x4 adventure, coastal landscapes and virtually untouched nature.
