Description

Description
Immerse yourself in the authentic essence of Bariloche with the traditional excursion known as Circuito Chico, an unmissable tour that in just half a day offers unforgettable views of forests, lakes, mountains and scenic viewpoints. The journey follows Ezequiel Bustillo Avenue along Lake Nahuel Huapi, revealing the city’s history as the landscape shifts from urban buildings to native Patagonian forests.

The excursion lasts half a day and can be done in the morning or afternoon, departing from the city center of Bariloche. The tour begins when you are picked up at the agreed meeting point to then travel west with a specialized guide along the iconic Avenue E. Bustillo.

At kilometer 17, Cerro Campanario rises majestically. Here you can choose to take the chairlift to the summit, where one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the region awaits offering 360° views of lakes, mountains and peninsulas.

Further ahead, the tour continues towards the Llao Llao Peninsula, home to the iconic Llao Llao Hotel and the charming San Eduardo Chapel, both set in a stunning natural environment. Nearby, at Port Pañuelo, you can spot the starting point of the lake excursions to Victoria Island or the Arrayanes Forest.

The route continues through Villa Tacul and in front of the serene Lake Escondido, and then, upon crossing the Angostura Bridge, you will experience the unique confluence of Lake Nahuel Huapi and Lake Perito Moreno, separated by just a few meters and united by majestic beauty.

Another highlight is the stop at the Moreno Lake Viewpoint, where you can admire panoramic views of the Llao Llao Peninsula and the lake as a whole.

Beyond the scenery, the Circuito Chico excursion offers a rich cultural and historical immersion into Bariloche: along the way, you will come across local artisan shops selling handmade textiles, ceramics, candles, wooden crafts and cosmetic products made with regional ingredients such as rosehip.
