Description

Description
The Snorkeling experience on Lake Nahuel Huapi allows you to explore the underwater life of Patagonia for the first time from Playa Bonita. With a guided outing to Huemul Island, Gallina Island or the Playa Bonita Wall, you can enjoy about 45 minutes in the water observing crystal-clear lake bottoms and unique scenery.

The tour begins at the meeting point located on the shore of Playa Bonita, very close to Bariloche. There, our water guides will give an introductory briefing explaining flotation and breathing techniques with a snorkel, safety protocols and the dynamics of the outing, with groups of maximum 8 participants to ensure a personalized experience.

After the briefing, the full equipment will be provided: wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins and a flotation buoy, specifically chosen for comfort and for enjoying the lake’s cold waters without difficulty. Once suited up, participants will board the boat for a short navigation to the designated swimming spot located at Huemul Island, Gallina Island or the Playa Bonita Wall.

Upon arrival, the water activity begins: a guided and supervised session of approximately 45 minutes, designed to be enjoyable and safe. As we float over the crystal-clear waters of Nahuel Huapi, the view below reveals deep blue tones, Patagonian rock formations and the natural immensity that characterizes this lake. Throughout the tour, the guide will capture underwater photographs that will be given at the end along with a commemorative certificate.

This is an ideal experience for curious adventurers or for anyone simply wishing to enjoy something different, surrounded by nature, calm and excitement, combining discovery with a sense of freedom that can only be felt in the heart of Nahuel Huapi.
