Description

Description
The Discover Scuba Diving experience in Lake Nahuel Huapi is a unique opportunity for those who want to enjoy their first open-water dive surrounded by one of the most iconic landscapes in Bariloche and Patagonia. From Playa Bonita, at km 7,6 of Av. Bustillo, this fully personalized guided activity invites you to explore the underwater world of Nahuel Huapi with safety, calmness and excitement.

The tour begins on the lakeshore at Playa Bonita, where an instructor provides an introductory briefing supported by audiovisual material to explain the basic principles of diving: how pressure works underwater, correct breathing techniques, movement, hand signals and how to use the equipment. Then, the scuba gear is assembled and participants put on two-piece wetsuits specially designed to protect against the Patagonian cold.

Just a few meters away, at the water’s edge, you will complete a shallow-water adaptation, always with one instructor per participant. Once your body relaxes and your breathing settles, the immersion begins: a gentle dive through the crystal-clear waters of Nahuel Huapi, where the feeling of weightlessness and silence reveals a completely new world. The time spent underwater is determined by each participant, with an average of about 40 minutes.

At the end of the dive, you will receive photos of the experience and a baptism certificate, a perfect keepsake from this first approach to the underwater world.

This excursion is ideal for curious adventurers and for anyone looking to take the first step towards a future scuba certification course. It combines nature, learning and a kind of excitement you only feel the very first time.
