Snow Moto half day is a tour designed to enjoy winter in the city of El Calafate touring adventure circuits and aimed at those who want to enjoy a free morning or afternoon in the snow offering, besides, time to contemplate the main body of Lake Argentino and the city from above.
The tour begins when we pick you up at your hotel in El Calafate and head towards Cerro Huyliche, located at 5 km from the city center. Upon reaching the base of the hill, you will meet the double snowmobiles in which you will ascend a steep path up the slope of the hill until reaching its top where there is a refuge and a spectacular natural viewpoint from where you can see the main body of Lake Argentino and the city of El Calafate. It is an impressive winter activity through the valleys of Cerro Huyliche enjoying one of the best and most inaccessible extreme landscapes of Patagonia.
During the journey, a snack will be offered at the "Huyliche" refuge to then return on snowmobiles to the base of the hill and, then, to your hotel in El Calafate in 4x4.
This activity is only available for guests aged 16 and over who wish to drive a snowmobile. If participating with a passenger, the passenger must be at least 8 years old. Please note that the snowmobiles are two-seaters and are shared only by guests traveling and booking together. If a guest books individually because they are traveling alone, they will be assigned a snowmobile for their exclusive use and will not be required to share it with other guests.
