Description

Description
Trekking Laguna Esmeralda Confort is a premium experience in the heart of the End of the World. This accessible and fascinating hike combines pristine nature with the comfort of a mountain dome specially prepared for visitors.

The tour begins directly from your hotel, where we’ll pick you up in comfortable vehicles together with our mountain guides. From there, we’ll take National Route No. 3 to the beginning of the trail. If weather conditions require it, we’ll provide all the necessary equipment —such as crampons and trekking poles— so you can hike safely and comfortably.

The hike is carried out at a relaxed pace and covers approximately 12 km in total, crossing lenga forests, peat bogs, beaver dams and streams as you make your way into the magical Lasifashaj Valley along a marked trail. There will be stops along the way to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Depending on the time of year, you may encounter a snow-covered landscape, creating a truly dreamy atmosphere.

After approximately 6 km an 2 hours of trekking, you’ll reach the impressive Esmeralda Lagoon, a glacial lake with vibrant colors that contrast with the glaciers and mountains surrounding it. From the lagoon, you’ll continue walking for approximately 1 km until reaching the mountain dome, where you’ll enjoy a premium experience with exclusive access to this specially prepared space.

Inside the dome, you’ll enjoy a comforting lunch or dinner, surrounded by nature, comfort and spectacular views—an experience that transforms a classic trek into a unique and unforgettable adventure.

After your break at the mountain dome, you’ll begin the return journey along the same trail to the meeting point with the vehicle, completing approximately 12 km in total, before being driven back to your hotel in Ushuaia.
